Case History: A new packaging for Cristino Snack

Today we meet Umberto Iorillo, a Packly user, whom we had the pleasure to interview regarding his experience with our platform.

Hi Umberto, tell us more about yourself: what do you do and what does your company do?

Hi guys, I work in Strategy & Corporate Development Management at Cristino Snacks, a company engaged, since 1950, in the production of baked products with a natural, authentic taste.

Why did you decide to use our service?

Last May, my company participated in the Tuttofood fair held in Milan, Italy. I was going to take with me some new products and present them at the fair, to gather the impressions of customers and observe the reactions to our packaging. For this reason, I needed to buy some boxes to better present our new product, both to loyal customers and to new buyers.

For this reason, I ordered two mockups on Packly for two different products, and I took them with me to the fair. It was also an opportunity to see whether the new packaging has the right consistency and sturdiness to hold the product.

Did you experience a real benefit in using Packly?

Yes, I had a considerable advantage, as I ordered a prototype made with the same print quality as the final packaging, with excellent colours and at an affordable cost. Furthermore, I can order all the boxes that I need, with the same high quality paper, both for low quantities and also in case of industrial-scale production.

I was able to introduce the new product in a professional way, and our customers appreciate it: I received positive comments not only for the product, but also for the packaging. I believe that this helped to communicate the quality of our products and to convice our stand’s visitors to place their first order.
