Europe’s leading packaging fairs
Italy
Among all the packaging fairs Italy hosts every year, two of them are particularly worthy of mention. We’re talking about Cosmopack and Packaging Première.
Cosmopack
Cosmopack is among the biggest international packaging fairs that revolve around the beauty industry. The event is a part of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. Cosmopack is a showcase of the most innovative trends and the changes taking place in the industry, making for increased opportunities for developing new projects.
The event’s peculiarity lies in the fact that companies exhibiting for Cosmopack can find their first potential clients right amidst the Cosmoprof exhibitors. This winning synergy increases all sorts of opportunities for all participants.
Sustainability is a key theme for this year’s Cosmopack exhibitors. Hot topics include cutting-edge formulations, natural ingredients, and natural packaging, with a special emphasis on achieving zero environmental impact, recycling and using biodegradable materials.
The fair will run from March 12 to March 15, 2020, at Bologna Fairground.
Packaging Première
Packaging Première is the selective exhibition dedicated to designers and manufacturers of luxury packaging as well as to major international brands entrusting the safekeeping of their products to containers bearing the tangible, unmistakable mark of luxury all over the world.
Since last year’s edition was a great success, having recorded a visitor increase of 40%, the expectations for Packaging Premièere 2020 are very high. It’s a rather new installation but very promising nonetheless.
Innovation will be this year’s key theme, which will be explored through a tailor-made format: all the exhibitors will be invited to take part by developing a project that stands out for its creativity, design, materials, experimentation, technology, and application. The best projects in the “most innovative products and materials of the year” categories will be assessed by a jury of experts in the sector and displayed in a Hall of Fame. Feeling curious? The event will take place from 26 to 28 May 2020 in Pavilion 4 at Fieramilanocity.
Germany
Interpack
Interpack is a key event for all packaging professionals around the world. The fair is entirely devoted to the word of packaging and all of its areas of intervention: food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-food and industrial goods.
Interpack covers packaging in all of its facets: manufacturing plants, industrial control systems, printing processes and machinery, logistics… A true hotbed of innovative ideas and solutions for all industrial sectors.
Interpack is, therefore, an ideal place for all packaging related needs. Its held every 3 years at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. This year it will take place from May 7 to May 13. France
All4Pack Paris
All5Pack Paris offers a comprehensive offer (Packaging + Processing + Printing + Logistics) that perfectly meets the market’s integration strategy and highlights the innovative power of the Packaging ecosystem: raw materials, process, packaging and packaging machines, marking-coding, packaging and containers, printing of packaging and labels, secondary, tertiary and shipping packaging machines. But also in the Intralogistics sector: continuous handling, automated systems, logistics services, and information systems, storage & warehouse equipment, lifting, trolleys.
This year the event will run from November 23 to November 26 at Paris Nord Villepinte, Paris.
Principality of Monaco
Luxe Pack
For over 30 years, Luxe Pack Monaco has been one of the main international exhibitions for luxury goods packaging professionals. Its shows always provide excellent exposure, contacts, and leads.
The Luxe Pack in Monaco brings the best producers of packaging and packaging materials from all over the world together under one roof. Among the exhibitors are the leading suppliers of the industry. Also, highly specialized companies will present their special know-how. The fair is an excellent opportunity to share information with colleagues and learn about innovative and original solutions for the industry.
The Luxe Pack will take place on 3 days from Monday, September 28 to Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco.
Netherlands
Empack
As a packaging trade fair, Empack has grown to be the largest in the Benelux. Here the total packaging chain of material, technology, machines, and packaging is presented under one roof. The packaging industry is in full bloom, which is why every year 320 exhibitors are happy to present their latest developments and innovations. Empack is compact, complete and worth your time, during one visit you will discover your own future of packaging!
Thanks to prominent industry parties and cooperation partners, an attractive program has been drawn up in which the most current themes and knowledge are discussed, in perfect coordination with the necessary interaction and networking opportunities. Among many others, the key themes of Empack 2020 will revolve around the use of renewable materials and carbon-free manufacturing processes.
This year Empack will take place on 31 March, 1 & 2 April 2020 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
Romania
Pack Show Bucharest
Pack Show is the most important packaging exhibition for southeast Europe. Lots of products, innovative equipment, and live demonstrations will take place at the fair. Also, lots of products will be released.
For 5 days, you have the opportunity to see more than 80 innovative equipment, packaging lines, machinery for marking and labeling, logistics.
Moreover, following the global trend, Pack Show 2020 will present the newest biodegradable and compostable packaging solutions.
The exhibition will take place from October 28 to November 1st in Pavilion A, Romexpo, Bucharest.
Poland
Warsaw Pack
The Warsaw Pack trade fair consists of 6 thematic zones: packaging techniques, packaging, labels, labeling and printing, automation, e-commerce, logistics, and storage. This formula of the fair is a great convenience for both visitors and exhibitors, thanks to which everyone will reach the zone they are interested in.
During the event, food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, transport, and industrial packaging will be presented. Packaging and packaging machines, a wide range of labels and labeling machines. The event will feature conferences, competitions and a special zone conducive to business contacts.
Warsaw Pack will take place from March 3 to March 5 at the Ptak Warsaw Expo.
Ukraine
International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging
International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP is the major event of the packaging and food industry of Ukraine and is the connecting link between suppliers and manufacturers of equipment, packaging, and processing and manufacturing companies.
IFFIP is represented by independent specialized exhibitions of Pack Fair, Food Expo, FoodTechMash, Bakery & Confectionery Industry.
In other words, it’s a perfect occasion for those who want a complete vision of the developments and innovations of the food industry, from packaging all the way to manufacturing technologies and everything in between.
This year it will take place from April 14 to April 16 at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) of Kiev.
England
And last but not least is England with its two Packaging fairs: Luxury Packaging and Packaging Innovations. These two fairs, although different from each other, take place in conjunction at Olympia, London.
Luxury Packaging
Similarly to Luxe Pack, Luxury Packaging is also centered around luxury goods. It’s the UK’s only luxury packaging event for branded, inspirational, prestige and bespoke packaging.
It is also worth mentioning that all visitors will have the possibility to attend packaging seminars and workshops during which key issues will be addressed. From the plastics issue and sustainability to designing eye-catching packaging that stands out.
Packaging Innovations
Packaging Innovations is the UK’s leading packaging trade show. It brings together brands and retailers with hundreds of packaging suppliers to do business and network.
Visitors come to this show to discover the latest industry trends, learn from sector-focused content and discover new product launches and solutions from our exhibitors and show features.
