Pull out box: the inspirational design by The Barber Shop. Today we would like to present you a joint success story by Packly and The Barber Shop. Starting from one of our samples and thanks to some skilful customization that we will detail here, our customer created a personalized packaging meeting all their needs, including that of impressing and entertaining the end user.
Pull out box and personalization
The customer had to package a professional shaving razor with a blade. In addition to a shape perfectly framing the object, protecting it from shocks and allowing easy opening and closing, the client wanted to introduce an element of surprise, a WoW effect that would make the package memorable.
Hence they decided to create a trick through an internal cutout, engineered in a way that at the moment of opening the box by making it slide, the male figure drawn in white on a black background suddenly grows a beard. Compared to the standard Packly model, therefore the pull out box with double-wall tray, a hole has been added on the front of the tray and a crescent at the top of a strap to facilitate opening. The sliding component was then shaped to facilitate slippage, resulting in the “bearded” part coming out.
